This has three management modes:
1. Non- Discretionary Mode
Under this mode, the clients will give instructions regarding the management of their portfolio i.e. they advise on stocks to buy and/or sell.SSL will only act as custodian for the securities by executing and settling the orders.
2. Discretionary Mode
Under this category, the clients will authorize us to invest at our discretion on their behalf.
3. Semi Discretionary Mode
This is a hybrid of Non-Discretionary and Discretionary modes. SSL will advise the client on securities to buy and/or sell, while client would be at liberty to accept or reject. Client can also make suggestions. It is therefore a joint management mode. Actual execution of transaction will only be done after receiving clients’ mandate or authorization.
